Not terribly long ago, I wrote this: What I'm looking for in a man. A co-worker pointed out that it was sort of a depressing list because it indicated that I'd dated a lot of not great men, which is probably (definitely) true.
But I don't regret it. Because man am I learning and hell if I'm not figuring out what I want and who I am. My best friend Kim passed along this article from GOOP on Friday and it hit the nail on the head. You want to know what I want in a man (and in friends, too, frankly)? An emotional grown-up!
