I'm on what feels like my first proper vacation in two years. I have of course been lucky to travel west a few times in the last year, but it was always for holidays and weddings. To be able to take time off for no other reason, but because... because we need it, because our body and our mind need the break, because fresh air and mountains and a change of literal scenery can do the body very good...well it has been one hell of a treat. And, if I could, a part of me would stay forever.
